Materials Science plays an important role of the initiative 10 th 12 th October 2006 in Munich hall C4, booth 205
Materials Science has a great importance for some Networks of Competences and therefore kompetenznetze.de the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology will be one exhibitor at this years MATERIALICA - hall C4, booth 205.
Hahlbrock is one of the leading suppliers of construction methods and automated manufacturing processes in the carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP). Hahlbrock is a member of the network of competence CFRP Lightweight Structures (CFK-Valley Stade e.V.) and Laser Centre Hanover (registered association) is a member of UFS - Nanotechnology Centre of Competence Ultrathin Functional Films Saxony. Both will exhibit their innovations in the common booths of kompetenznetze.de.
The Centre of Excellence for New Materials (Neue Materialien Nordbayern GmbH) also a network of competence named Materials Innovation Net North Bavaria (WIN) has a booth on its own - hall C4, booth 628.
Furthermore members of kompetenznetze.de send speakers to the forum of the MATERIALICA. With presentations and panel discussions in various areas of applications the forum is an information platform for ongoing trends, market-analysis and product development.

About 20 networks of competence in the fields of Materials Science and Nanotechnology are focussed on Materials Science. In addition there are over 40 networks out of the fields of innovation such as Bionics, Biotechnology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technologies and Optical Technologies that perform interdisciplinary research in Materials Science.
