An Empirical Based Insight View on Emergence, Financing,Management and Competitiveness of the Most Innovative Clusters in Germany

Regional networks and cluster gain in importace in Germany, especially in innovation policies. A driving force is the fact that there are already many successful examples in network- and cluster developments; even tough they quite differ concerning structures, aims and performance. The document analyses the approx. 100 most effective regional networks in structure, financial development as well as the historical formation and network management. Those parameter will then be used for an overall performance assessment.
Afterwards developing future challenges will be examined.
