EURYI Awards: Call for Proposals
For the third time the European Young Investigator (EURYI) Awards will be awarded by the European Heads of Research Councils (EUROHORCs) in cooperation with the European Science Foundation (ESF).
Aim of the EURYI awards is to support and encourage outstanding young researchers by funding the development of an individual research career at an internationally recognised European institute over a five-year period. The scheme encourages distinguished young researchers from all over the world to work in Europe and seeks to benefit the position of European research at world level. Applications for funding and placement at a German institute must be submitted to the German Research Association (DFG) by November 30th, 2005.
