Biochance PLUS: Prospects for 5 Biotech Companies in Regensburg
In the latest promotional rounds for the BMBF Programme BioChancePLUS, from more than 133 submitted project drafts, 5 proposals from companies in the BioRegio Regensburg were selected. A total of over 9 million will be invested in the firms and their project partners in the next 3 years.
The BMBF has been supporting innovative biotechnology companies in Germany with the project BioChancePLUS since 2004. The Federal Government has made 100 million available as promotional means until 2006. Currently 60 new research projects of around 30 million are being promoted throughout the country. In the 2nd current round, 5 biotechnology companies from Regensburg have been selected emphasising the highly innovative approach of the young biotechnology scene in Regensburg.
