Master of Medical Education launched in Germany
German universities have cooperateed to launch a two-year masters course in medical education.
The new programme, which welcomed its first 24 students at the beginning of the winter semester, aims to provide medical managers with the education necessary to pass on their skills to others.
Educational experts from around the world are involved in the course, which can be studied alongside a career.
Although the course is managed by the University of Heidelberg, it can also be studied at universities in Berlin, Dresden, Essen, Cologne, Munich and Tübingen.
Applications for the next intake of the Master of Medical Education (MME) programme, must be received by July 15, 2005.
