With a two day congress centered around the topics of optics and photonics the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT and the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT offer a forum of information about current perspectives, technological innovations and new applications from industry and research. The colloquium, which takes place every two years in Aachen, will focus on three topics:

Technology and Production
Products and Innovation

Many high-level contributors promise a presentation of current developments and trends. The lectures will be held in German and English each with simultaneous translation
