MODTRAIN/MODLINK – The future of the European railway-systems: The European project Modular Train (MODTRAIN) is a milestone on its way of competition in the future of European railway-systems. Within MODLINK from 2004 to the beginning of 2008 Europe-wide standardized technical results for human-machine-interface in the unitised future train will be developed, realised and tested.
LUMOS – Air-based Monitoring System: A consortium of the Berlin KMU IQ Wireless, BLIC, Scandat and Teltec as well as the German Aerospace Centre and the Fhg institute FIRST responsible for research, has developed a new system for optical data entry of transportation and its processing in real-time including the supply of users with information.
