Monolithic miniature spectrometer - 'quick image spectrometer'
The 'quick image spectrometer', a monolithic miniature spectrometer with a CCD matrix developed by Carl Zeiss MicroImaging GmbH, TU Ilmenau & STZ QB, is a cost-effective mobile device for the optical generation and electronic analysis of spectral images.
It can be used either in industrial test control units or independently on a PC. This opens the door to a wide range of new applications, from medical engineering through materials science to the food processing and automotive industries.
