Interactive Mobile Monitoring (IMM)

The DFKI has developed a mobile multimedia application that allows UMTS smart phones to access and remotely control network-enabled video cameras using the cell-phone keypad.

At major events like the FIFA World Cup, spectators can interactively navigate a camera attached to a tethered balloon in order to watch the game from different perspectives.
